My name is Inger Perkins.
I have had a camera in my hand and conservation in my heart since the age of 10.
Two things inspire, excite and challenge me – photography and conservation.
I love the fact that conservation and photography appear as two distinct fields, but their combined impact can be profound. Simply put, conservation photography is photography that inspires, empowers or enables conservation.
I created this website to share and promote that concept. It’s early days, so forgive me as I develop this idea and invite conservation photographers to come on board. Ultimately, this website will showcase conservation photography – images that have been the foundation to successful campaigns to protect landscapes and nature, both over recent decades and especially now.
