Craig Potton MNZM

Although Craig Potton doesn’t see himself as a conservation photographer, he fits the definition to a tee.

Craig is New Zealand’s best known landscape photographer and an ardent conservationist. In 2013, he received the Insignia of a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to photography and conservation over the past 35 years.

His images have been used to promote the establishment of the Paparoa National Park in the 1980s and more recently to protect Golden Bay, not to mention myriad causes and campaigns along the way.
